Trading the Dream for Wander

We’ve decided to do something unconventional.

This all sort of fell into our laps, so to speak.

A camper came for sale down the road, dirt cheap and not too bad structurally. We fixed it up, as many of you may know.

We camped, and we LOVED it.

There is something about being in touch with nature that just resets, rejuvenates, and re-centers.

Our kids slept!

They played all day (NO SCREENS) and slept so hard every night.

The whole summer was a wham BAM of embracing life for what it should be!

Sun, nature, play, exploration.

We fell in love, I think I mentioned that…

We dreaded coming home.

Our country home is beautiful something we have always considered to be our DREAM. Right outside the city, not far from “everything”.

However, this summer changed us. Re-organized our priorities.Showed us what really matters in life.

Spending time together, without the distractions, the clutter, the things…

In the midst of all of this change, a dream came about.

This dream was a flight of ideas at first, nothing formulated and set.

We daydreamed of living in our camper, of traveling, of spending our time focused on what life should be.

Within days we had set a plan. Within a few weeks, our home will be set for sale.

We have downsized greatly and on the verge of decreasing so much more.

We are thrilled, anxious, sometimes doubtful, but READY.

Follow me, join us on our journey. We would love to share our experiences as we set out, untethered, prepared to explore the United States.
