Forever open to new adventure.

hELLO.

I’m a wife and mom of two boys. I earned my masters degree in Occupational Therapy in 2015 at the University of Indianapolis. Since then, I have worked in pediatrics up until my oldest son’s health kept me from working. Raising and educating our two boys is currently my full time job. My husband, Daniel, works remotely as a security analyst. Prior to the pandemic, we stayed home as much as possible to keep our oldest healthy. With illness as a major trigger for his asthma, we needed to keep him in good health to keep his breathing under control. Our world was sheltered, as we limited our attendence at most social events. As the pandemic struck, we realized few things had changed for our family. We were still tired of feeling like we weren’t living our lives. Stuck in the monotony of each day, overwhelmed by all the “things” that seem to accumulate, frustrated with the fact that we were only getting older, but losing time wrapped in our bubble where technology seemed the only source of connection. We decided to make a change in the spring of 2020 and bought a used camper. We spent almost every weekend that summer camping. We swam more than we have ever swam, absorbed oodles of sunshine, and completely embraced the great outdoors. Our kids actually slept, exhausted from abundant physical activity. We were happy, at peace, and most of all, felt like we were living how we were intended to live. As colder weather encroached, we were nervous about the upcoming winter and falling into our old routines. One day I presented a wild idea. Daniel was completely against it. We hashed out worse-case scenarios. We slept. By the next day, we started to develop a plan. This silly, wild, imaginative idea has led us to where we are today. We are currently traveling the United States in a fifth wheel. Searching only to live life to the fullest, embrace nature, and create last and meaningful memories with our kids.
